The article ‘Inside the Fabulous and Bizarre Lives of Billionaires’ Private Chefs’, Dean discussed his experience working in a demanding but altogether rewarding environment, providing private chef services to the world’s rich.
Speaking to GQ, Dean points out, how the lack of a house manager in an already chaotic household can add extra pressure, where gruelling 18-hour days are commonplace. Once, Dean’s client came to his kitchen at 1.00 am demanding champagne, truffle and caviar canapes for a guest who had just arrived. In the interview, Dean put it simply, stating that “It was ridiculous.”
