Dean Appears in Cheshire Life Magazine

Owing to Dean’s extensive experience working in the North West and further afield, Cheshire Life Magazine invited Dean to share some insights into the region’s leading restaurants. Dean gladly obliged,  giving readers of the rural culture magazine expert advice on local cuisine. Here is what Dean had to say about these exquisite restaurants:

    • Northcote Manor, Northcote Road, Langho, Blackburn, BB6 8BE – “I love Nigel Haworths use of local produce and the modern British cooking techniques. To stay overnight is a brilliant experience and the service from the waiters and sommeliers is exceptional. The afternoon tea and breakfast are nothing less than perfect.”
    • Earle, 4 Cecil Road, Hale, Cheshire, WA15 9PA – “Simon Rimmers restaurant, Earle, in Hale is outstanding. Its perfect for a big celebration or just somewhere for great food on a Sunday afternoon.”
    • Farmers market at Rode Hall, Congleton, Cheshire – “You can get your hands on a wide range of organic produce, grass-fed meats, home-smoked fish, organic dairy (local cheeses) and home grown organic vegetables. Its great to walk around tasting lovely food as you go.”
    • Sams Chop House, Back Pool Fold, off Cross Street, Manchester, M2 1HN. “This is my favourite gastro pub and its rare to find places like this in the city centre. Again, this is a menu of traditional home cooked British pub classics with flair.”
    • Michael Caines at Abode, 5th Floor, Abode Hotel, Grosvenor Road, Chester, CH1 2DJ. “I recently enjoyed Christmas with Michael Caines which was an evening of amazing modern British food with French influence, introduced by Michael himself. It was total indulgence for any foodie. The service was fantastic and delicious pre-dinner champagne got the gastric juices flowing.”

    Minimum Spend Note: For small groups there is a minimum spend of £1000 + VAT. This includes 5 courses and a private chef. The cost calculated is dependent upon the number of guests and courses but all quotes are subject to the minimum spend. If you require a waiter this will be a supplement cost of £200 + VAT.  Menus with exclusive Caviars or White Truffles may have a supplementary charge.
