What a Year 2019 Was

Our appreciation

We wanted to write a few words to show our appreciation for every aspect of 2019.

So good to meet great people

We met some fantastic PA’s, House Managers and direct Clients that enabled us to find it easier to reach out to the correct chefs for some fantastic private roles both in the uk and overseas. Having as much information on the role, family, their preferences and daily routines helps no end and our contacts for the families have been extremely helpful with this. We pride ourselves on meeting with every candidate that we register and one of the most important aspects of what we do is matching personalities, the more knowledge we can gain from the PA’s and House Managers the better. It excites us to know we have helped our fantastic candidates successfully find their perfect role. We love to stay in touch with them and hearing how well they fit in and enjoy their job is just the best.

We have met so many new chefs in 2019, we couldn’t be happier with the calabra of candidates we have on our books. We have super pleasant, cooperative chefs that are quick to respond and when correspondence between us and them is fluid and quick again this is so helpful. We then feel confidant recommending them to our clients. We hope that we can continue to meet this high level of chef going into 2020. One of our favorite parts of our job is meeting our candidates. As we have an enormous knowledge of the industry chefs open up to us, swapping suppliers tips with Dean and helpful connections. As this happens we gain a true understanding of their characters which is paramount for us.

Dinner parties couldn’t be going better

With our other business Harper Fine Dining we couldn’t be happier with how our dinner parties are going. We have our constants, chefs that have worked along side us for years that we are 100% confident will deliver every single time – and they do. This year we have met lots of new chefs we also now call upon, chefs with specific culinary backgrounds for example, plant based, vegan, Spanish, Italian and Indian. This enables us to offer a bespoke service with specialist chefs for any requirements.

We have the most fantastic Waiting staff that NEVER let us down and ALWAYS deliver a top service, friendly yet discreet, efficient and well mannered with a fantastic can do attitude. Our waiting staff know the chefs well and they sing each other’s praises and really enjoy working together which is the best thing to hear from our part.

We have a fantastic crockery supplier that has worked so hard this year to give a great service, always providing us with pristine crockery, cutlery and glass wear. We couldn’t be happier.

Having a supplier that personally delivers only the best farm produce to our chefs and clients is what enables us to stay on top. She personally sources fish straight from the boat and meats direct from her trusted farms along with organic vegetables. She will only purchase what she truly believes to be the best and we couldn’t trust her more. She couldn’t work any harder and her knowledge is impeccable!

We couldn’t provide this luxurious service without our Clients, regular and new. Thank you endlessly for your continued custom!

This has been our busiest year for dinner parties and we have improved our organisational skills and perfected our planning, however, always learning and growing and always happy to continue to do so! A massive thank you to everyone involved and for making our job easy and always filling us with confidence.

Sorry to leave behind 2019

We felt sad to say goodbye to 2019 as it has been our favourite year so far. We have grown, learnt so much, been so proud. Had some big changes and felt a constant feeling of excitement. It’s been fantastic to achieve all of those things.

New Years resolutions?

– we hope to continue to grow in every sense.
– we strive to provide only the best service only placing chefs we truly believe in.
– we will continue to always give fast and informed responses and constantly keep our candidates well informed with the process.
– we’ll try our very best to understand our clients needs and requirements so we can enable ourselves to send only our most appropriate chefs to them.
– we will work extremely hard on the organisation of our dinner parties so that our clients, chefs, waiting staff, suppliers are all always well informed to avoid any misunderstandings.
– we will continue to meet all of our candidates and clients in person – where possible.

Here’s to 2020 being just as amazing as 2019 was!

Book a Private Chef

Minimum Spend Note: For small groups there is a minimum spend of £1000 + VAT. This includes 5 courses and a private chef. The cost calculated is dependent upon the number of guests and courses but all quotes are subject to the minimum spend. If you require a waiter this will be a supplement cost of £200 + VAT.  Menus with exclusive Caviars or White Truffles may have a supplementary charge.
